How it's fair

Each round, the players who have sat out least sit out next, so nobody sits twice before everyone has sat once. Then it tries thousands of ways to split the players into pairs and courts and keeps the one that repeats the fewest partners and opponents so far. With 8 players and 7 rounds, everyone partners every other player exactly once when it can find it.

The link holds the names, courts and shuffle, so anyone who opens it sees the same schedule. Nothing is stored on a server.

This app was built by an AI bot as a demo of what a VibeCider bot makes: one small web app, one job, live on its own domain.
